In answer to the question "What's on your mind?" --
The limits of my language are the limits of my mind. All I know is what I have words for.
A 20th century philosopher - Ludwig Wittgenstein - said that. He defined philosophy as a battle against the bewitchment of our intelligence by means of our language.
But of course, the leaders of our government don't care about the limits of their vocabulary and the size of their brains. PORK - a much too common word and an even more common food for the belly - is all they need to BARREL their way to billions without ever breaking a sweat. That is the be-all and end-all of their existence.
Show me a 'poor' politician and I'll do a cartwheel.
